(Player Spotlight) - Paul Holes #54 - Trencher, Linebacker, Defensive End, and Specialty Teams

Paul was a multi-talented player in 1984. He was a trencher, a member of the trench crew, a defensive end, linebacker, and also played on specialty teams. Paul could fill in where we needed him and get the job done well. He was a good hitter and took punishment like a rock. He could not be intimidated on the gridiron. Paul never complained and was a quiet player, but one of the nicest guys on the team. He was always ready to jump in the fray on the field and take on any opposing player. Paul would go to the gym with Mark Baranowski, Joe Leonard, Jeff Martin, and me to lift weights to put on mass and increase his strength. Paul was my compadre, and I am glad he was a teammate because he made the game fun. Thanks for the memories, Paul. You took names.
